Blog #2 for English

I am going to go on record right now saying this might be the hardest 300 words I have ever had to string together.  I have read those questions a couple of times and to be honest I am not a writer, nor do I do a lot of things that require sentences linked together providing a point.  I have never been much of a reader, I did read the Harry Potter series.  I find it frustrating to read because my mind starts to go to other places.  I can start reading a book and finish the 1st chapter then self quiz myself and will have no idea what I just read.  When thinking back on it I can tell you what I had for dinner, what I want to do tomorrow, or maybe how excited I was about the game but generally nothing about the pages I just read.  I was pleased that I actually made it through the Harry Potter series, that was a big step for me.

Writing is about like my reading.  Unless I have to give a talk at church I bet I don't write more then two or three complete sentences in a week.  I will throw a list together on my ipod if I am doing something that requires a list.  If I buy a car I might write down some ideas on some different cars I like to help weigh the pros and cons.  My job does not require much writing, if I have a pen or if I am typing something its normally filling in the blanks on a form or just inputting some numbers for an equation.  I don't keep a journal and I don't think I ever will unless my teacher makes me for a class.  This might end up being more challenging then I would of hoped for.  320

  2. Getting 300 words was hard for me too. I think it takes some getting used to, like exercising a muscle you don't use very much.
